2. Read through the other resources about solving indoor air quality and sick building syndrome provided. 

 

3. In groups of 2-3 discuss the case you chose: the issues and the solutions. In this group make a poster to advertise or inform everyone the value of house plants for improving indoor air.

 

4. On your own complete the following questions in detail:

 

    A. For one week, log the number of hours that you spend indoors. Make a chart of what hours of the day you are inside then calculate how much time do you spend indoors. (supply chart and calculations)

 

    B. What case study did you select? Describe the case study.

 

    C. What are the issues identified, what is your question to the problem?

 

    D. What are the airborne chemicals that are relevant to your case study?

 

    E. What are the solutions that building owners and managers decided on in your case study?

 

    F. Describe how house plants can be used to solve indoor air quality, what did you learn that was not mentioned in your case study? 

 

   G. What are the benefits of using house plants versus the solutions that building owners use?
